Jo & Dan’s Lush Kew Gardens Wedding

I'm a plant person. If you could see the amount of houseplants in my flat (15 and counting, I’d say!), you'd say that's an understatement. So when Jo and Dan asked me to photograph their wedding at one of the world's most famous botanical gardens, Kew Gardens, it seemed like a match made in heaven!
Jo got ready for the day overlooking the Thames at The Petersham Hotel with her mum and bridesmaids. The civil ceremony took place in a beautifully decorated Nash Conservatory and was followed by drinks on the lawn right behind it. A golf buggy took us around the grounds for some couple photographs and we weren’t going to let the hottest day of the year keep us from taking some photos inside the Palm House! The wedding breakfast and speeches took place in The Orangery, as the setting sun made the sky outside the colour of gold.
