Yas & George’s Summer Garden Wedding at Home in Woodbridge

Yasmin and George’s charming garden wedding took place at Yas’s childhood home in Woodbridge.

The day started off with a lively and colourful Baraat for George and his family as the 270 guests gathered in the town square. This was followed by a religious ceremony in the village church, after which Yasmin and George drove off in a vintage Morgan which Yasmin had gifted to George the night before.

The drinks reception and wedding breakfast took place at the family home in Woodbridge, where a beautifully decorated marquee and a backdrop of lush greenery provided the perfect combination for a British summer wedding.

This was one of my favourite weddings of 2023 to photograph, in part because of how adamant Yasmin was on not having many staged couple shots and instead trusting me to capture everything naturally as it unfolded. I was also able to work alongside Andrew once again - he’s a brilliant videographer and you can see the beautiful film he put together for this wedding below.
